Songdo Centaral Park

'Central Park' is a seaside park built within Songdo International City, a green paradise found among the crowded skyscrapers in the city. Visitors can enjoy a water taxi ride on the man-made waterway, take a stroll at the walking promenades or various themed meadows around.

Songwol Fairy Tale Village

The opening of the Incheon Port in 1883 led to the start of many foreigners coming into the area for settlement. Soon, it became a rich village and many young people gradually moved out, leaving the village in a state of stagnant. As such, a renovation project was brought upon to improve development of the village by painting and decorating classic fairy tales all around.

Gaehangjang (Open Port Area) Street

As the Incheon Port was opened in 1883, this is where one could feel the rich history and culture accumulated over 126 years. Formerly used by the Japanese consulate, the Jung-gu Office, the Incheon branch of Japan's 1st, 18th and 58th Bank and other modern historical architecture can be found intact here. Also, it keeps the historical trace like Former Japan Mail and Shipping Inc.

Incheon Open Port Modern Architecture Exhibition

Incheon Open Port Modern Architecture Exhibition Center (Former Incheon Branch of Japan's 18th Bank) was built to control Korea's finance industry by Japan. It completed construction in 1890 and opened in October but records on the time when the work finished was unknown. It is built in a single-layered with classical decorations of eclecticism style. The stone pillars at the entrance was delicately built and the roof was formed like Japaness roof tiles, exuding an exotic ambiance. The place has now transformed into an exhibition center that introduces the states of modern architecture in the areas of Incheon Open Port.

Jjajangmyeon Museum

Jjajangmyeon (black soy bean noodles) is one of Korean's most beloved dishes, known to haave originated from Chinatown in Seollin-dong, Jung-gu of Incheon. This birthplace of jjajangmyeon also bouses a special museum dedicated to the dish, introducing its history, progress in development, and the influence and value it effected on Korea. The museum took an empty brick building and restored it for the citizens, allowing visitors to trace the history of the community which is inevitably deeply connected.
